AI Shark Tank Judges Tear Into an AI Plant Startup — Live

After inventing an AI-enabled product — Pip, a smart plant companion that uses AI to understand what a plant needs to grow — participants took things one step further: they presented both their commercial and their investor deck to a panel of AI-powered Shark Tank–style judges.

The judges reviewed the idea alongside human evaluators, offering detailed feedback on the product, business model, positioning, and risks. When AI is treated as a strategic thought partner and collaborator — not just a tool — it can challenge assumptions, surface blind spots, and sharpen thinking in real time.

This is where things get especially memorable. The room often erupts when Reginald, the notoriously surly British judge, weighs in with his brutally honest (and unexpectedly hilarious) critique. The combination of serious feedback and levity makes the experience stick.

This is another example of how we design hands-on, immersive workshops. By weaving AI into ideation, creation, and feedback loops, participants don’t just learn what AI can do — they feel how it changes the creative process, decision-making, and collaboration in fundamental ways.
